1. Neal Mohan is born in Lucknow, India (1975/1976).
2. Graduated from Stanford University with a degree in electrical engineering in 1996.
3. Began working at Accenture (date unknown).
4. Joined the startup Net Gravity in 1997 and became a key figure in the company’s operations.
5. Net Gravity was acquired by DoubleClick in 1997, and Mohan moved from California to New York.
6. Entered central business affairs within DoubleClick in the 2000s and became the vice president of business operations.
7. Returned to Stanford in 2003 to pursue his MBA.
8. DoubleClick faced serious issues stemming from its acquisition of Abacus Direct in 1999 while Mohan was at Stanford.
9. David Rosenblatt became CEO of DoubleClick and enlisted Mohan to help orient the company towards advertising exchange, core ad technology, and an extensive ad network.
10. Together, they created a 400-slide PowerPoint plan that still has an influence on current business plans by Google.
